Training Log For The week of: August 18th
I know some of you at times will be on a "rest" by coach, but others have big races coming up so go on here to let coach know what your doing to get ready to race or just out working on what coach teaches.

Coach told me to rest for 3 days, so today i swam all day with my brother. Yesterday i swam with my brother.
Coach: Ken Norton, 2007 MO State Time Trial Champion/Certified cat 3 coach by USA Cycling.
The Black Oak cycling team exists to promote safe, responsible cycling and healthy lifestyles for those wanting to excel in road racing. Coach Norton stresses bike handling and all aspects of bicycle racing while keeping the fun in it!!!
The focus of the team is safe bike handling and team riding to prepare each individual to enter the world of competitive cycling.

I rode with Doug Greek, he taught me a better way to climb and how to concerve more energy when riding.
I also set a personal record for the 53mile dogwood route today, 2hours and 52min. about 40min faster than at the beggining of the year.
Yesterday i went riding 27.24 miles! It was really fun! My max speed was 41mph!
Brian and Coral did the Thursday night ride to Rogersville. It was about 20 miles. Coral made her daddy look bad on the hills.
I rode on monday, i had to go to a baseballo game on tuesday, i couldnt ride wednesday because of gymnastics and church,an thursday i rode.
